Live Chess on Parliament had players dressed in their rendition of white and black chess pieces.
Live Chess on Parliament Hill happened on May 12, 2024 in the beautiful sunshine break on a rainy day in Ottawa in front of the iconic Peace Tower between 2 pm and 4 pm. Tourists, participants, friends, families and supporters got together to play 2 spirited live chess games in support of the Alzheimer Society of Canada and the local efforts of the Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville.

Pieces were awarded on a first come first serve basis. Some players were unable to attend however these people were the brave souls who volunteered to be a part of the fun.
We had alternates due to unforeseen circumstances so we had a complete board.
