Our White Knight is as timeless and iconic as the piece in the game of chess, known for its distinctive movement pattern and strategic importance.
As a life long chess player “with potential”, I’m a forever amateur always promising myself to work on my craft more. As an exchange student in Paris years ago, I took a chess class taught by a part-time theatre actor. I’ll always remember him acting out what each piece does for us French learners so it is a privilege for me to act out the (white) knight in shining armour for such an important cause taking place at such an important site.
