Volunteers are needed to play the game as a chess piece (first come, first served). See what spaces are still available here.
You will enjoy a fun historic experience being part of a live chess game in front of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill on 5/12/2024.
The setup of the board will take about 15 minutes and the game is expected to last 90 minutes.
All Chess Pieces would be able to wear a costume that resembles their chess piece and be directed on the chess board in accordance to the rules of chess during game play.
We hope to have a great time and raise awareness for Alzheimer’s Society of Canada and their mission and mandate.
